What is the lightest stick allowed in Little League baseball (pitching machine)?

I bought my sone a 16 ounce 26 at bats. He is 7. His bat is the way heavy and I think that is a 18, 28 inches. He has been using a 17 Friends, 27 with a -10 (?), But not one that when I left. Is this legal size?

i umpire little league and the rule book of 2007, about the size of bats in the minors (a 7yr.old) is very clear in the largest and longest --- that regulation 1.10 of the club must meet Little League standards. is "no" more than 33 "long Under high stick can not be 3 oz less than length. Minors can be much lighter and bat your child is using is probably shorter and lighter such as made.
