The Reflex Baseball Bat is equipped with Easton's own Brace Barrel – Optimized BBCOR Baseball Bat Design. You see, BBCOR standard requires detuning of the bat barrel to create more wood-like performance. One way to do this is to reinforce the entire barrel with added material.
Unfortunately, adding material also increases swing weight. So, the design challenge is to use the least amount of material in the most efficient manner possible, and that's where Easton’s exclusive Brace Barrel Technology responds, and answers the challenge with authority.
Easton's patent pending design technology strategically locates discs of material in the exact location needed to meet the BBCOR baseball bat requirements without unnecessarily increasing swing weight. With Brace Barrel Technology, less is truly more.
The Easton Reflex is back and better than ever! For years the Reflex has been the go-to bat for players looking to get a bat with great pop at a great price. Made from Easton's 7050 Aircraft Alloy, the Reflex is a durable bat that's going to last.
The Reflex is topped off by a blasting cap that increases the explosiveness of the ball coming off the bat. Easton employs a new technology with the Reflex, called Brace Barrel. The Easton Reflex aluminum baseball bat is a cost effective alternative to composite bats. It is 100 percent aluminum construction, which is useful in leagues that prohibit composite bats.
The Reflex is built with 7050 aircraft alloy, which gives it plenty of strength. It also incorporates a total-peen anodized finish.
While composite bats outperform the Reflex, the Reflex is a comfortable bat to use. It has a 12 inch barrel which gives it a nice sized sweet spot, and the anodized finish helps reduce vibration when striking the ball. Also, for more power through swings, Easton incorporated the forged end with a concave Mother Load pre-loaded end cap.
