The rawlings plasma GOLD is a one-piece, ultra lightweight bat made with Rawlings' Liquidmetal Gold material which has twice the strength of titanium. The Rawlings Plasma GOLD is suited towards smaller players need a lightweight bat to generate appropriate bat speed..

But the Rawlings Plasma GOLD uses its flexible RPM Composite - Tournament Flex Handle, it also uses its CRe (chromium enhanced) stiff frame - 1.5 times stiffer than two-piece bats. Smaller players need a bit more "flex" in the bat so that the ball can "pop" off the bat.

The Rawlings Plasma GOLD is well balanced and uses a synthentic leather grip that feels good. Combined with Rawlings' Low Rider end plug, there is little "hand sting".
