Combat Backbone
Combat introduces their Backbone to the 2012 BBCOR bat market! A wood bat never looked or felt so good. This BBCOR baseball bat design has been produced from the ground up to act just like a wood bat, but to last much longer and to use much less of the worlds diminishing high quality hard wood supply.
By using less maple COMbat has the ability to be more partial and use only the best of the hard maple available. This is an enormous improvement over the current method for making wood bats. Averages show that at least one wood bat breaks in every high school baseball game. This makes using a classic wood bat a costly proposition. Most wood bats break in the handle or in near the taper. COMbat's composite Backbone uses a formidable substance composite backbone that runs the span of the bat.
The BBCOR Backbone blend is an unbreakable composite handle with a rock hard maple barrel. The bat's composite handle, in addition to providing excellent durability also enables a dependable, optimized handle flex for superior energy transfer to the ball and ample pop and performance.
The strength produced by the backbone ultimately, will last longer, saving customers money. Above money savings, the backbone provides an exceptional, more dependable balance and swing weight with a softer feel and limited vibrations. The newly created Combat Backbone baseball bat has been designed from the ground up. The Combat Composite Backbone uses a high strength composite backbone that runs the length of the entire bat (thus, the name). This high strength backbone in the bat means it will last longer than any other wood bat, while simultaneously saving more trees, and saving our customers money. It also means the bat is more likely to stay in one piece if it does break, making the game safer for players.
