In my search for which pitching machine will suit the needs of the team and give us the most bang for the buck I was impressed with the Atec Radius 270 pitching machine.
The ATEC Radius 270 pitching machine does a few things really well it work well when using dimple balls, regulation hard balls and ATEC SOFT Balls. It is seemingly the most accurate machine on the market that I have come across. It works well with both hard and soft ball pitching.
One of the best benefits of having a pitching machine is the versatility of being able to practice on the fly, whether working with just one player or a team, everyone can get great training so they are essential tools of the trade that simply add value and fun.
It can throw several types of pitches including fastballs up to 60 miles per hour with a hardball and 58 miles per hour softball. Not only will it help out batters become more skillful, it is extremely effective for training fielders on training for infield and outfield catching drills.
It weighs about 80 pounds and is very durable measuring 30 inches in length, 15 inches in width and 22 inches in height. The ATEC Radius 270 Pitching Machine comes with a 3 year manufacturer’s warranty. It only takes one player to take it down or set it up. You can just detach the tripod then grab the machine by the strap and take it away in two parts.
